About The Campaign

The Blast would like to further encourage increased participation in indoor soccer among Baltimore youth. To achieve the goal established by the Blast it is important to highlight three objectives. To demonstrate the Blasts commitment to the community. To raise awareness about indoor soccer leagues in the Greater Baltimore area. To increase the number of teams to 53. To reach these objectives the organization needs to sponsor an event.

The 1st Baltimore Youth Indoor Soccer Awards Banquet is the perfect event. The event will take place the 2nd week of April which coincides with the end of the season as well as National Student Athlete Day. The awards banquet will reinforce an ongoing effort to encourage participation in indoor soccer among Baltimore youth. The awards banquet will be similar to the team awards ceremony currently in place. This event will be configured in a manner that is less formal and professional and more social and casual. The ceremony will commend the outstanding youth who play indoor soccer. Awards will include The Golden Boot Award, Most Outstanding Offensive & Defensive Player, Sportsmanship, Most Improved, and The Coaches Award. Awards will be presented by Blast players.  Overall, the event will underscore the Blasts dedication to the community and determination to continue the growth of youth soccer.​​
